As a Dad, I’m always looking for creative ways to keep the fun alive inside the house — especially in my office, where I sneak in a quick break between Zoom calls or challenge my kids to a little one-on-one.
But I didn’t want a cheesy, plastic hoop that screamed “dorm room.” I wanted something with style, quality, and a little wow factor. I also didn’t want over the door, it had to be wall mountable.

What I liked
- Beautiful cedar wood backboard – This isn’t just a hoop, it’s decor. Stylish and solid.
- Flush wall mounting – Sits tight against the wall with no rattling or shaking. Wife-approved.
- Spongy mini basketballs – Safe for indoor play (especially important with kids and breakables around).
- Solid construction with a breakaway rim – Adds realism without encouraging dunk-related disasters.
- Comes with 5 balls and a pump – Immediate fun without hunting for extras.
What can be improved
- Net hooks move around slightly – I wish the plastic clips on the rim were better secured.
- Install time may vary – Took me longer than 10 minutes, but I’m not exactly Bob Vila.

The cedar wood looks stunning in person. With three connected panels and a smooth finish, it turns your wall into a functional art piece. It instantly elevates the vibe of whatever room you mount it in.
Breakaway Rim Design
There’s just enough flex in the rim to handle bank shots and occasional light dunks (but don’t hang on it, folks). It adds a pro feel to your shots and protects the backboard from damage.
Soft Foam Mini Balls
The five included foam balls are perfect for indoor use. They’re soft, bouncy, and safe — especially when your kids get a little too excited and start launching full-court shots.
The whole kit does come with a tiny plastic pump, which was a nice touch.
